Here is the time-lapse out of my camera – August 11, 2012 from Rocky Mountain National Park. I love the shooting star about 1/2 way through, and then a flash of headlights makes it look like it landed and exploded!
My friend Dave Dugdale and I went to Rocky Mountain National Park to try to do a timelapse of the Perseid Meteor Shower – This is from his new Canon T4i Camera – it was awesome and a great time!
I was asked to be a “pacer” for Ray Churgovich, or “Hawaiian Shirt Ray” for the Leadville 100. Basically, a pacer runs a section with the runner to keep him/her company, carry gear, keep an eye on health, hydration, etc. I ran with Ray from Twin Lakes to the Fish Hatchery (almost 17 miles) from about 6pm until after 10pm. Neeraj Engineer picked him up there, and ran another 17 or so. Lina Kelso was with Ray from Winfield to Twin Lakes – another long stretch. Ray finished in 25 hours, 7 minutes – beating his 2009 time by over…
I do like Journey even though most people would tell me to buy a welcome mat to the year 2008. They have a new singer, and his story is quite amazing. See the video….
