David, Joelle and Johnnie Besnette

Joelle and I decided to take a long weekend and go to Las Vegas with our little guy.  We stayed at our favorite ‘family friendly’ place - the Sunset Station Casino in Henderson, Nevada.  Great place, and really clean and relatively smoke free.   They do hourly childcare so the parents can go have some fun.   I won $40 on the “Wheel of Fortune” slots!   Woohoo - Big cash!

We took Johnnie down to the strip and had a really nice dinner at this Italian Restaurant in the Excalibur.   We also drove to Hoover Dam one day.   More photos can be seen here.

I decided to take Friday off from the computer to go get some snowboarding in. It’s been a year or so since I have gotten up to the mountains, but within a run or two I was back to where I was. We went to Copper Mountain and it was really great snow and no crowds. Other than it being about 5 below zero, it was a great day. I went with a few friends. More photos
